I can understand the intimacy of watching a movie on Netflix rather than going to a crowded theatre, but I remember a time when such a date wouldn’t be suggested…. I say this, more so, in terms of the aspect of computers now being more involved in one’s life…

when I was a child and young adult, going to the theatre was an event…there you could breath hundreds of farts… all mixed up.

If she’s got a problem with a guy’s bronyism, then she’s probably not for him anyway.

I’m a guy, and I really enjoyed all the Tinker Bell movies on Netflix.Maybe she shouldn’t panic. It’s just the two of them!

Hey! Those are about the only safe movies to watch. They’re on my list. Along with the Avengers! :-)

How does she know he doesn’t write or produce movies or tv shows for for kids? Some of them have some pretty sophisticated humor (think some of the early Bugs Bunny cartoons), not to mention trying to write for the pee-wee set can be a little daunting. Look at Suzie Carmichael’s dad on later “Rugrats” – he writes for “The Dummy Bears”. Okay, he hates it. Bad example. Carry on.

In any case, much better than him watching the adult pr0n versions.

He should tell her that he volunteers his time as a mentor for disadvantaged youths and he takes his laptop to the center with him so they can watch shows.
