La Cucaracha by Lalo Alcaraz for January 23, 2015
Transcript:
Cuco: GOP house majority whip Steve Scalise spoke at a David Duke white supremacist hate group conference in 2002. Why would anybody address a hostile hate group? Eddie: I know, right? KKK Man: "I'm sorry. I thought I was addressing the Republican Congress."

Maybe it’s because groups like that have harassed beaten and killed people who didn’t look like them and worship like them.

yeah, it’s worth it if Benghazi is worth it, or any of those stupid time-wasters the republicans use. also, if the president is going to be ripped for his association with reverend wright, Scalise had better be ripped into for an even worse choice of association….

Lalo is simply reverting to political diatribe to stir up interest in his strip. His last few strips have tried to be funny but the marginal success obviously isn’t worth his effort. So he’s back to the tried & tested tactic of hate. BTW, I’m not taking sides, just commenting. Enjoy the Day…

They are succeeding as they do every so many decades because a large part of the human race is wired to be serfs and peasants and slaves and when things get too progressive they destroy everything so they can be powerless and penniless slaves and therefore have no pressure of responsibility.
That sort of attitude will win you no friends. Really? People are “wired” to be serfs and slaves? Care to back that up with any substantive evidence? And if you’re hoping to make any sort of social change, you’re simply undermining yourself with that kind of nihilistic thought. This is wrong-headed, counterproductive, and frankly insulting to anyone who claims to be part of the human race.

The hatred Lalo expressed against people he disagrees with is almost as the bad as the hatred expressed against George Bush when he was in office.
The best way to express hatred it to accuse other of hatred. Lano is a master at this.

mdavis, racist sympathizer, strikes again! No, I mean, like, mdavis totally whiffs this one. Cherry-picking a report that a racist organizer makes a claim to prove Scalise wasn’t there. Meanwhile, Scalise has never denied it. And lo and behold, that racist organizer is exposed as a liar. And David Duke himself has said that he invited Scalise and Scalise accepted.

the very message of the Americcan Civil Liberty Union. Most conservatives seem to hate the ACLU. there are two people on here that have kept a flame war alive for a very long time. I wish they would both stop reading this comic. they know who they are.

right you be. And they have destroyed many peoples faith or at least enjoyment of church.I actually had a church member tell me that "I couldn’t be a democrat and be a Christian. That is so backward since it is Republicans who don’t believe in doing what Jesus said to do. feed the hungry, etc.
