Chesney, you are extremely naughty!

You know it’s cold outside when the doctors and therapists call and cancel your appointments. All three Paul and I were to see today called early this morning. One doctor has the flu, one has a car that won’t start, and the last had a car accident on the way to work. Such is irony, if we had called this morning to cancel due to the weather (-21C with wind chill of -31C), we would incur charges, but we can’t charge the doctors for cancelling. Yum Yum is currently sleeping on top of the fireplace, she occasionally flips so she can soak up the heat evenly.

Dear Graham, what happened with the color (colour)? Maybe we will never know who is who if other cats are talking. We know them well by their colored (coloured) fur.

Maybe Graham forgot to go to the art store for colored pencils. Or he put them away with all of his Christmas prezzies and forgot where they are.

Maybe he figured this coup would be too graphic in color. We Ten Cats readers are sensitive. Eldo – what the heck is that? Beviek – funny cats and dogs video. Great pictures today. Love the paw print in the dough. LadyKat – enjoy your day since you don’t have to get out in the weather.

Just curious, does anyone else find the font/writing style of this comic a little hard to read?

catching the virtual mouse

My declawed indoor cat (happened before I inherited him) always wants to sneak out the door. Yesterday, we got a 5 inch snowfall, the first of the winter, and what do you know? He zoomed past me as I opened the door to get the mail. He stopped on the porch as he stepped into the snow and shook the snow off his paw and meowed at me. Meanwhile, birds were zooming by just out of reach. Usually it takes several hours to get him back into the house safely but he wanted nothing to do with the 19 degrees and falling snow so he ran back into the house squalling all the way at me to shut the door behind him.
