Hey. Sorry I'm late. What the...? What's with th' big snake? I borrowed it from Travis. I thought it'd make a good icebreaker for tonight's party. I'm not sure it's working. All the women seem to be cowering on the opposite side of the room... Maybe they're just packing up to get a good view of its overall length. Why is one of them holding a can of raid?

I was at the park with my grand-nieces and some guy brought his pet cornsnake along with his toddler. I dragged the girls over to pet it, to show them it was nothing to be afraid of (which is one reason the guy brought it).

Not that we’re still not careful with it, but our 5 ft+ python is the gentlest pet we’ve ever owned

I know they are friendly. But isn’t that friendliness simply the snake sizing you up for dinner?
