My neighbor grows the variety of plums that are dried for prunes – they are really yummy.

I’ve never eaten a prune in my life: back in kindergarten they tried to get me to eat a bowl of prunes and custard, and 60 odd years later the b@st@rds still haven’t won!!

I’ve read that dried fruit is hard to digest and should be rehydrated before consumption…who knew?

It is 20 degrees here this morning (and snowing hard), and I just saw a runner pass our house. And I envy him. I remember going for a run in this weather…30 years ago.

I think Susie Derkins Returns D: was implying that all prunes are dried. Therefore, “dried prunes” is redundant.

Isn’t it potentially dangerous to put one’s hand on the stove near a hot burner? It burns me up when somebody does that!

I was a little incensed by the comments that referenced a study denying what I have (for a lifetime) assumed as factual (i.e. men’s wages are substantially more than women’s, all other things being equal). I was forestalled in doing the research owing to lack of time/laziness. Thanks for the assist.
