Meanwhile, Sphynx, and all…. just FYI….a “perfect” diamond is only perfect if it’s cut in the best possible way for that particular stone, which is somewhat subjective, and flawless at an agreed-upon level of magnification…..
I think for jewelry that’s 10x …. in other words, if you see no cracks, blemishes or inclusions when the stone is magnified ten times, you can call it “flawless”, for jewelry.
But there is no such thing as a totally perfect diamond under a strong microscope, or at least, AFAIK, none have ever been seen.
