The curtain’s moving away from the window in panel 2 and in panel 3… it’s gone! I suppose it wanted to get out of the way of the growing rock!

Eegads Bill, I didn’t even notice that! I was too busy watching the hole in the window continue to migrate around.

Flight Suit, pay attention!

DT lives in a mysterious house. I’m surprised the guys in the AMC Pacer were able to identify it when they went back at midnight. I suppose they are the ones that launched the rock (or piece of stale toast) from the ladder on top of the car.

Notice how the rock was able to break the window in two adjacent places on either side of the frame!

VistaBill I hadn’t noticed that last part until you pointed it out. LMAO!

Maybe it was prankster kids who don’t like him? That’s not a hole, it’s a blob. That’s how it changes shape and moves around. The blob actually threw the rock.

What happened to the gun he was firing on Saturday???

The window is now a two frame window! The hole is now in the middle! Between the top and bottom frames! The artists can’t stay consistent from panel to panel! Next time we see the repetitive house panel, the house will have flying buttresses, Tracy will be depicted with horns, and Tess will have a prehensile tail. Why not? Absolutely no care is taken panel to panel.

Maybe the Tracys have a “smart house” that is trying to heal itself.

I can’t wait to see how much the message has changed between last Sunday and the next time we read it!

It’s Lex Luthor who threw the rock of kyptonite through the window. Seems he though young Kal-El was staying with the Tracys!!

Maybe it’s from someone who likes quality cartooning.

This is really exciting, I can hardly wait for tomorrow’s strip!

It is surely obvious that a hole can’t go crawling all over several panes of glass and be in a different position every time we look. Therefore, that is not a hole. It is a living thing. Since no lifeform like that is found on Earth, it must have come from space. Probably on that meteor which is visible nearby. So far it has been camouflaging itself as a hole in a window, but it could move off the window and disguise itself as something else at any time. We know it can change color from black to white and back again – we saw it do that. Who knows where it might pop up next, or what it might camouflage itself as? Keep a sharp eye out….

It could well be from Chief Lizz. Call it an early “WAKE UP” call, even readers have noted you don’t go to WORK in the morning, anymore (?) In fact, it always seems to be some ‘personal’ reason that keeps you from going. For example:

And look at the SIZE of that missile, it’s not a rock … it’s a boulder.

P.S. Suddenly it occurs to me – the note could be another camouflaged alien lifeform. After all, it was untaped from the meteor and all spread out to be read – and now it’s wrapped itself around the meteor again. Ordinary notes taped to ordinary rocks don’t do that.

Will it say the same thing next time we see it? In the same handwriting?

I hate to give people the wrong impression of where my mind tends to dwell, but…is that camel toe we’re seeing in the third panel? Maybe Dick’s a girl! That would explain the “eeks” back in the Circus story.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the artists are doing exactly what they want. They are incorporating “Find the differences” into each Dick Tracy strip. They are testing our powers of observation.
