Yuck, rats in the yard!

Dissed by a rodent - ouch.

From the look on Doug’s and Sophie’s faces, I don’t think “roadkill” is what they’re thinking.

I always had about as much fun with the box as I did with what came in it!

Possums can thrive in the ‘burbs as well as the backwoods, Lonewolf.

Possums are the only animal for which, if I see one on the road ahead of me, I speed up. Nasty, disgusting critters.

They’re the only marsupial found anywhere other than Australia/New Zealand; they were kicked out because they’re the only marsupial that isn’t cute.

Do you think Sophie and Doug have a box time-share with Calvin and Hobbes?

Aww, except for the tail, I think possums are cute. We have a couple that eat from our ground bird feeder at night. They’ve been coming since they were little and could barely reach the feeder. Now they’re grown.

I had a possum in my back hall. At first all I saw was the tail, and I thought it was a h-u-u-u-u-u-ge rat. Then I saw the rest, and realized that rats aren’t fuzzy.

However, if Doug and Sophie are in the southwest, it could be an armadillo.

runarno, you can’t mistake an armadillo for anything else. How are things going with you? Long time, no see.

marguerite, I don’t get back here as often as I used to. There was a time when I posted every day faithfully, but after I was down sick for a week, I just couldn’t get back into the routine.
