I was in need of a ride due to running out of gas. It was after work, 12:30 at night. I flagged down a passing police car, a female officer came out. I explained my situation to her, she then said I could ride in the back if she patted me down. I agreed, and while she patted me down, all I could think of was, “I’ve never been patted down by a professional before”.
I didn’t, say it though, I was afraid the ride would last longer than just to the corner gas station.
First time I flew after the new rules I didn’t know I had steel in the soles of my shoes. I got to get a full pat down. Funny thing is the only person available to do the search was a woman. Being a guy it wasn’t too bad.
I’m “randomly” selected every single time I fly since 2001. I thought about pretending to be a Muslim to avoid this, but then the Muslim’s might consider me an apostate – and that would be far worse.
Duke ,your comment reminded me of the strip search I got back in 68 at Sydney airport coming there on R+R from Nam ! I guess I just have a shifty look like maybe you ozzie ! hahahaha

But, by the rules, she happened to be touched that way by some girl… Another good reason for the Wiz to feel gloomy…
