    Wrap a loose cylinder of foil around it, then peer down into the opening, and you might recognise an even stronger resemblance.

    The problem is, you might have to peel it and/or cut it up into pieces first…and that’s hard to do with a spork from KFC.

    This is so true – and sad. I once had a class of fifth graders struggle or five minutes to come up with a list of “root vegetables”. After swearing they would never eat anything that grew underground, they were absolutely astounded to discover that list included potatoes. No French Fries for you, my friend!

    Sadly this is accurate. Almost every patient I see tells me they eat healthy. I’ll run into them at the grocery store and they have a full cart without one piece of real food; just food products.

After swearing they would never eat anything that grew underground, ".They came to learn.You taught them even if you grossed them out.I hope you mentioned peanuts while at it.Polinated above the ground, go under to grow.Not a root, but still grows underground.Good bye, peanut butter, Reeses Pieces, roasted peanuts, boiled peanuts, peanut butter cups.I wonder if they gave up eating food cooked in peanut oil?.Live and learn.
