If Silver has a picture of Aggie that at all recent, Kandi might recognize her right away. Sprocket may be right that the Nitrates are about to get conned, just not in the way she has envisioned it.

Great summary, PQ! Notice that you were missed the first minute the strip was posted! And when you took center stage, a hush fell over your audience. A masterpiece!

If Kandikane has any snap at all, she would be a little nervous about the Nitrate’s “setup” in an abandonded drive-in.

Yikes!A whiff of incestuous possessiveness here?! Sprocket has all along been the tougher of the two siblings, though abused by Silver. Theirs is being revealed as a more complicated relationship than was initially apparent. On the other hand, Kandikane seems tough enough to stand toe-to-toe (or motorcycle boot-to-toe) with Sprocket, if only she’d get over her ever-increasingly annoying habit of sucking on a candycane….

Missing The Brow and Flattop… Hell, even Shoulders was a better bad guy!

I was really hoping that we do not get into some weird version of a Fraudian disorder with the bro-sis thing. But Mike & Joe have a track record of touching on subjects that the normal comics reader has no idea, such as the cosplay thing. I guess it reminds us of the realities of life, and for sure, Tracyville charactures have enough personality disorders to fill up thousands of psychiatrists’ waiting rooms!

Twisted sister? Sprocket seems a bit possessive of her brother. That Kandi shows zero interest in Silver beyond the job she’s been hired to do apparently doesn’t matter. Sprocket flashes a yellow card for a foul Kandi has no thoughts of committing. Let’s hope Lena has been eating more than popcorn. Pouch is in the clear, having told everything he knows, as is his want. Silver and Sprocket don’t know the trouble coming their way. Here’s hoping Kandi doesn’t get caught in the crossfire. I’m very much enjoying the way the threads are being woven together. More of the good stuff from Team Tracy.

I wholeheartedly concur with you, Jonathan K., regarding the excellence of the Mr. Bribery story. That’s where I discovered Dick Tracy, as a kid just old enough to be grabbing the funny pages. It is a tremendous story. The interludes with Mysta, of course, are one of many things that make the 1960s my favorite era. The way the Bribery story dovetailed with the Chin Chillars and Piggy made for an extended run of excellence..Thanks to Neil Wick, Night-Gaunt49, Morrow, Gweedo, cpalmeresq, davidf42, Starman1948, Jonathan K. and abdullahbaba999 for the kind words. Very much appreciated

So why did Silver have to leave immediately after meeting Kandi? I’m not getting that part.

It has always been clear that the Nitrates were, um, “unusually close”:--which is why I was initially surprised when we learned that Silver punches out his sister with some frequency. However, maybe that isn’t so surprising – given that they feed people to a hyena, we should expect some sadism in all aspects of their lives, including their relationship with each other. In any case, Sprocket wants to make sure that the status quo between her and her brother isn’t interrupted by an interloper. (And we do know that Kandykane has a thing for gentlemen with silver hair!)

@Pequod77: you have been given a great gift my friend. Your poems have enriched many of our lives. And I’m certain also the lives of those who read but do not post. I hope you are keeping copies of your poems for posterity.
