What I’m saying is: I’m accused of being what the other person hates, because I will not support their views with the same fervor as them. By saying I accept their belief in their view is equated to calling them a liar and if I’m not WITH them then I must surely be against them, thus worthy of insults and ridicule. Neither can I ignore or refuse to answer. My mother used to always tell us kids, it takes two to argue… how trusting and naïve she was.
