Whatever I am doing at home, I usually have 2-3 furry supervisors and “helper cats” to join me in my tasks…Until its time to vacuum.

That’s Fido whenever I’m working on a crossword or Sodoku.

Mippy tries to “hunt” the moving thread — I have to be in a closed-up room away from him to sew or he’s trying to pounce on the thread.

Miss Kitty likes to lay on the sewing table and watch the sewing machine needle go op and down.

This is where you get up, carry him to the kitchen and open that large can of tuna with the electric can opener. Then you’ll see just how quickly the rest of the news team comes scrambling in to investigate.

Love the agitated tail on Elvis. Apparently sewing is not an approved activity.

Yum Yum likes to steal my knitting. So far, I have had to restart a carriage blanket I am making 3 times as she keeps running off with it. Very frustrating.

This is so cute and so typical. Love cats!

I can’t read comics forums or emails without lots and lots of help. They even change shifts.

In a similar vein, we have a CTSA — Canine Territorial Scent Agency — agent here . He advises me when packages arrive, minutely inspects them before allowing them up the stairs, and is fully prepared for any emergency — such as something edible turning up — as I open the package.

They only time my cat gets intrusive is when I sit in her recliner and don’t produce a lap; she insists that if I have to sit in her chair then I have to supply a flat area for her to lay on.

With me, it’s Barney. Bico usually leaves me alone when I’m sewing..Maybe it’s a same-gender thing. (\’’0)

I like how you can see the woman’s love for Puck on her face in that last panel.

Always have “help” showering, reading the newspaper, sewing, typing, indoor gardening, making the bed, their dinner, very helpful kitties!!

The ASPCA has a list of “cat personality types” (should be felinality types, but whose to argue with the ASPCA). Puck is clearly a “Personal Assistant” type cat…
