My high school had a gun course in PE at one time all the way until the early 80’s. They had to shut it down because, surprise, people were getting shot too often. They still had archery when I attended a decade later. Marginally safer, but I think that’s only because of the distance limit.
i did take two or three classes on hunting but not in high school or college. it was in grade school and junior high. and yes i am an ‘old fart’ who has ‘lived’ with guns all his life.-and it’s interesting but i’ve really never worried about my gun breaking out of it’s locked safe and wrecking havoc on everyone around. course i don’t keep the bullets with the gun so technically the gun is impotent accept as a club or paperweight.hmm maybe i should – worry that is – i keep getting told how dangerous guns are.but i guess like dog owners of certain breeds i struggle to think that my gun like their dog might suddenly forget all it’s training and go berserk.

Good joke, Greg. Good misdirection. He IS an idiot, of course (after all, he’s a teen), but I for one did not see the “college course” route coming.

I thought only Basket Weaving 101 and the graduate courses Basket Weaving 201 and 301 were college courses.
