Re the picture: It’s like one of those puzzles where it could be interpreted either way. I see two different faces. One with her eyes shut and (possibly) glasses pushed up. In the other, the woman has eyes practically on top of her head, a very broad nose, an elongated upper lip and – from the looks of it – either jowls or long ears. Hmmm.
Re the bird: cool trick – and I think we can tell whose side the person in the painting was on.
Johanan I had assumed that the cage was two pieces a base and the cage itself. Now that you mention it, I notice that the bars seem to go through the cat.
I am offended!

There’s a face on the face of the lady in the picture on the wall. Very sneaky, Thom!

I’m inclined to agree with you Joe, but it could be interpreted either way I guess.

Better keep you distance, bird. Clarence looks dressed to kill.

Either way, the cat looks a little steamed…

Kitten In A Cage, that would be a great title for a sexploitation film.

Yeah, cdward, the picture on the wall is two-faced.

And no one is wondering just how the bird got out and the cat got in? That’s not stupidity, that’s a miracle!

I’ve heard of “Cage the Elephant” (a band), but “Cage the Cat” sounds a lot better.

LOL Thom Good one. Clarence looks fit to kill, if only he could get out!
Carmy The young face is prettier. Do you think it is a reference to Dorian Grey? (Whose young face grew old in the mirror?)
Nah!
