So very, very, brief. Worse than a banana.

So is 12 rounds for the boxer.

It’s the way of all fruit.

Blow on that pear and shine it up.

Pears look like a laugh, and are having a good laugh.

My local produce store features several varieties of pears. It is an acquired skill to sift through all the too-hard and too-soft to find an ideal few to buy….

.. requiring the patience and skill of a cat, to wait them out and pounce at precisely the right moment.

And if you have six nice pears, you can reap as you sow.

What?That guy from the Ozzy Osbourne song?

The partridge will have flown by then, too.

I don’t think my “window of perfection” was all that brief, but my decent into shapelessness has certainly been slow and steady.

… and it is almost complete!!!

I have a whole new appreciation for when things go pear shaped

Sometimes life’s the pits….

Other times it’s guacamole….

“My soul could use a little more cheese.”

I’m more a musical fruit sort of person anyway.
