Janis says, "There are no shops..."
Arlo says, "No cafes!"
Janis says, "There's not even a restroom!"
Janis says, "And, it's a lame cliche!"
Arlo says, "I don't care!"
Arlo says, "It's 20 degrees back home!"
At least there’s some snow back home. Down in NC we will be down to about 13 Sunday night after a high of 24. If we have to have the cold, I at least want a little snow.
One year in central Wisconsin (about 15 mi. from Lake MI) it stayed under zero for several days, then didn’t rise above the teens for a month or so. We rejoiced when it got up to 20°!(Now it’s even worse with all that polar-vortex stuff.)

A deserted island and still wearing clothes?

There are some areas you just don’t want to get sand in or get sun burned. The people from the show “Naked and Afraid” will back me up on this.

All I know is that it DOES get cold in Florida. This morning, I had to get up early to scrape the dew off my windshield…

Thirty below here in northern Maine yesterday morning. No snow lately, but this AM it warmed up to zero….that is Fahrenheit , not Celsius.

When there’s no good programs on TV we amuse ourselves by watching the weather reports from up north. Cruel, but enjoyable.

Alone on a deserted island with your wife…so why are they wearing clothes?
SnuffyG over 9 years ago
Anything below 40°F is too cold for me.

Wherever they live it gets cold enough for Arlo to spread cat litter on the sidewalk.

@Dr McCoy: Actually there are a lot of desert islands in the world and this one looks like it fits the bill.

20 degrees and I put the top down. Is the US the only place on earth that uses fahrenheit? Confusing.

“A small atoll, that really isn’t an island, with sand and one palm tree. ".Mmmm, not really an atoll
" a ring-shaped coral reef including a coral rim that encircles a lagoon partially or completely. "

They’re still wearing clothes only because Arlo always liked her yellow bikini!
