Salesman: "Here at "I do- For you!" We're all about unique, personalized weddings!!" Salesman: "We offer four all-inclusive plans! A: Amazing! B: Beautiful! C: Cost- effective! And D: Delightful!!" Salesman: "Pick one, and you're done!" Brad: "We're done, right?" Toni: "Yeah. We pick E: Exit"

Yeah… and only one of them ( See “C” ) is probably simple… and/or affordable…. – And with four….“choices”, the only part that’s “personalized” is the fact that you’re choosing one of their four packages… a sort of “cookie cutter” thing…

Looks like Brad and Toni are on the same page. (And the creepy guy trying to sell them a pre-planned wedding makes me think of how TJ will look, a couple of years from now…)

Was there ever any followup on the Bonus material from last week about Luann in 30 years? I can’t figure out how to get back to it from this website.
Angelalex242 almost 10 years ago
That guy needs sales lessons.

Just pick E for elope, spend an affordable amount on a nice honeymoon and if your family or friends complain, tell them its your life and your financial future. Not theirs.Be the grown ups for a change.

Uh, are the Any “NORMAL” People Living in the Town of Pittsville??
William Loster almost 10 years ago
Funniest strip there’s been in a long time, tbh. Not that I laughed or anything, but there was some puny humor. Greg and Karen have set-up an interesting week for these indecisive love birds.

I bet they ask Shannon, and then do it her way.

Why the repeat of this comment from yesterday when it was fairly heavily discussed? Seems confusing. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++To me it now seems apparent that Brad and Toni are going to do it “their way”. This suggests a non-traditional approach. I am wondering HOW non-traditional Greg will make this?

OMG, it’s General Zebo’s brother!

What a nice “common sense” couple they seem to be. They’ll probably be satisfied with used furniture in their new home – instead of requiring all new furniture like many of today’s young people seem to do.

Thank you.

At 18 I planned my own wedding at my own expensive except for the cake that my mother paid for and the booze that I was too young to buy. Instead of “Just Married” on the back of our car, someone decided to put “Trial Run”, and the others went along with it. Some trial run. Today we are celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary.

It bodes well for their future that they both were thinking alike. Some of the most memorable weddings I’ve been to are very simple, a country wedding in someones backyard that is more about the people getting married than the amount of $ spent.

Or, Do, Ray, MI.
locake almost 10 years ago
They went to a wedding planner, what did they think he would do? Brad says they “Are done” and Toni wants to Exit. It sounds like neither one wants to get married any time soon.
Jim Kerner almost 10 years ago
Way back when, in the late twentieth century. My wife and I planned our own wedding, paid for it, except for the photographer/video man, and rehearsal dinner. What’s a wedding planner? And we did it our way! Going on 25! Woo Hoo!
locake almost 10 years ago
The logical questions to ask would be “What does each package include”, and the price of each package, so they could decide what they want for a wedding. Why don’t they at least ask some questions?

davidpepper almost 10 years ago
To Nermal M,
Most of my wife and my best time was to plan our own arrangements 40 and 1/2 years ago. Had to do it on a budget on our low salaries. Been going strong since!

I know a lot of cartoonists – cannot think of a single one who would let the online readership drive their product.

Brdshtt, you have too much time on your hands. But, you’re right, its a good likeness. Did you make a “field trip” to get that second picture? I hope no one else was around.
wiselad almost 10 years ago
????? the vote of Aaron/Gunther was for the DANCE and not for “who she ends up with in the future” (and right now looks like it will be Q) and she did go to the DANCE with Aaron, the way voters decided
flowergirl19 almost 10 years ago
Catching up on yesterday’s comments, it seems to me that Karen at least reads the comments here. Or else why would she have written the strip’s history and posted it here?
Sisyphos almost 10 years ago
That’s one wedding planner Toni has knocked off their list. Now she and Brad should think about what they want, and look for the planner who can produce it….
Jim Kerner almost 10 years ago
I think that you meant the “throne”.
Jim Kerner almost 10 years ago
Good for you! Mine’s October 21. Yours?
