Damn those SHOGGULU are tricky bustards. Anything to enhance their food. Though they can eat anything they mostly prefer humans. (They are called “The Devourers” and were designed to consume the very substance of the continuum.) At least done by the dark evil maybe insane Celestial who had control of Earth for a short time and had created those hungry intelligent creatures before the other Celestials came and dragged him away. (It does explain only some of the contradictions in the Bible.)
