Joe the know-it-all knows that “float” is an ingredient of check kiting schemes.

I thought the “float” was the thing in the toilet tank.

I thought it had something to do with my bank accountS

Float is what you do when you can’t swim. I wonder if Bob can swim?

Float is what you hope you can do when you can’t swim.

Maybe Bob thinks that delicious frothy stuff that root beer and ice cream make when it combines is an ingredient. Some of those fancy-shmancy chefs call it foam. I call it mmmmm!

Aaahhhh, root beer float, the best concoction ever devised by man!!

I, too, always order vanilla. Sometimes with a scoop of strawberry on top.

Does that make me boring?

Those who think they know everything annoy those of us who do.
