Not wanting to speak ill of the departed, I read somewhere the former head of Apple had a similar mgmt style. I don’t know for sure though. Basically it was along the lines of “I push you because I know you can do better, now give it a camera.”
Apple management had to contend with products that were late, overpriced, and had missing or nonfunctional features of their competition.
