I hope you’re not going to say that it’s your birthday. I graduated HS that week…

I can’t help but wonder if the invitation was mailed to “Mick” Doonesbury.

Once a bridegoon, always a goon.

Love the word bridegoon, should be used for all men getting married.

Famous newspaper correction:“Yesterday, we referred to Defective Smith of the Salem police force. We should have said Detective Smith of the Salem police farce. "

@KaffekupYou beat me to it! I have that one in an old “Readers Digest” collection of bloopers and quips by critics and such-like.

Ah, the good old days before auto-correct.

There’s a ‘net rule (almost a Natural Law) that a post to correct a typo will invariably contain a typo itself. What’s its name?

One of my favorite silly Doonesbury strips.

Is that date right? I thought they were planning on a July wedding.
BE THIS GUY almost 10 years ago
@Jessica_DRick wanted a July wedding. JJ told her mother to ask for May and to settle for June.

What was the original date of the strip? Maybe there wasn’t enough time then for reprinting before the wedding. On the other hand, they had time to print the erratae.I’m pretty sure “erratae” is a word even though I did just make it up.
