Nancy Pelosi said: “The script calls for an old time detective look” – Tracy whipped out his Hat and Coat to everyone’s delight.

Now it seems we’ve had another change in script, (?) Those ‘props’ have miraculously vanished, we may not see them again until till next Winter.

For the “old time detective look” it would be a treat to see Chief Brandon and Pat Patton drawn by Chester Gould instead of a Sam Ketchum that’s drawn by these jerks to look like a bobble-head doll.

I think I understand why Locher’s editorial cartooning skills aren’t transferring to this serial. Each plot revolves around stereotype characters. Anju Nu would be very effective in a political cartoon to represent “that kind of person”. There is no need for continuity or consistency in a given character since each cartoon lampoons a different subject.

Really, the ideas are pretty good, Locher just needs someone to draw consistently and help him work out details of the plot more plausibly.

Why is DT in black and white and all other strips in color?

It’s difficult to keep up with this story. It’s moving too fast!

Anyone notice that J. Nothing has a tiny spotlight growing out of the left side of his fedora. The artist didn’t even bother to continue drawing the stand!!!

Say… Wouldn’t you think that somebody who could draw HDQTRS in 3D lettering would be able to get simple stairs right?

If Johnny Nothing wants to do Tracy in, he could have thrown a bomb through DT’s window from the AMC Pacer instead of a rock (stale bread) and he wouldn’t need to waste his time at the Science Museum.
