Who said it had to be food.? For the item that changed life styles the most, I’d vote for the “clean up” we all use daily, bathroom tissue. It is extremely popular, and comes in an assortment of choices.

Miracle Whip? Neither a miracle nor a whip. When they added that “zesty tang” gimmick, most Texans were on the floor laughing their heads off. Around here, that is a synonym for bland.
