Miss Bliss: Class! Please do not bang on the piano. The piano's not a toy. For every girl and boy, to bang and pound and smash. Whack and smack and bash! Dill: Does everything have to be a song cue? Alice: Not so loud! Or she'll sing "Everything's a Song Cue" again!

Everything’s a Song cue Everything I do Playing my piano singing songs for you, If it sounds too creepy If it sounds too blue, It doesn’t really matter ‘cause everything’s a cue

So that’s what it’d be like if life were a musical ?

NOW it all makes sense as to why this piano was so necessary.

I LOVE Alice’s face in the last panel!!!
And around here, Everything is a Song cue - that’d be me. That’s why I also adore Larry the Cucumber’s line in “Lyle the Kindly Viking” - when asked why he’s singing everything, he sings, “cuz it’s a MUSICAL!!”
I’ll be hanging this one on the fridge.

I don’t think that piano is afraid of banging and pounding and smashing, Of whacking and smacking and bashing…!
It is not in the least bit scared to get mashed into a pulp, Or to have its strings gouged out, And its pedals broken, To have its keys all split, And its sound board burned away, And its frame all hacked and mangled, brave piano! Its damper cracked and its lid wrenched off, and its hammers snapped and its bridge chopped out, and its pinblock…
“That’s enough singing for now, lads!”
Nine days!

All Miss Bliss’s songs seem to be about why you shouldn’t do what you want to do…
Hey, Teacher! Leave those kids alone!

The urgency reminds me of a teen ballroon class back in the ’50s… which had only 2 melodies for our practice - “Glow little glow worm” and a Schottische… It was Sooo boring to all of us as teens. That led me to join less boring groups (not altogether a good thing)
