“Look at all the people like me in charge, so I must be in charge.” It’s the same in every country. Find a Gambian man and ask him about the Senegalese, or vice versa. But both would agree that Somalians are lazy as driftwood. Craziest thing I’ve ever heard is native Africans spouting homespun racism in America.
I missed the part where Stephen said that the racists were all white. Racism has no color, but yes black people refer to it a lot because of past and present struggles. There are many who are taught to work harder than their peers and who do – only to be stared at when walking in a predominantly white neighborhood. Not all, but a lot of white people see a young black man walking and they become afraid and do things like lock their car doors and cross to the other side of the street. These examples I am giving happened to my son – a college student who wears his pants in the proper place and has never hurt anyone. Racism goes both ways and sadly it will not end just because people stop saying it out loud.
These racists sound a lot like religious people. “Mine is right; everbody else’s is wrong. Why? Because it’s mine.” No evidence. No thinking. Just themselves and their petty little thoughts as the source of all truth. The saddest thing is that the vast majority of them don’t even realize how disconnected they are from reality.John Loftus’ book The Outsider Test for Faith should be required reading for all religious people.

Gee Uhuru, you just quoted Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the thugs in Ferguson, Barack and Michell Obama. Notice a trend? Who are the racists now?

And, like kids, their fears aren’t based in reality.
