My office manager has the discretion to change an employee’s punch in/out time, as long as a reason is given (forgot to punch in or out, employee worked offsite, etc.) Opal needs an option on the device to change the number of steps recorded — as long as a valid reason is provided:

Forgot to wear the device

Wore the device but the battery died

I got this as a birthday gift and have to pretend I’m getting good use out of it

I’m out of shape so walking the number of steps the device recorded is like a healthy person walking twice as many

I’m lying through my teeth to impress my friends/family
