I remember getting yelled at by an older woman at a movie theater for sitting “too close” to her (we were 2 rows behind her). Her adult daughter looked mortified and tried to explain to her mom that we weren’t that close. They wound up moving another 2 rows away so there were 4 rows between us. Good thing it was the matinee on a weekday!
As more and more smart people stay home to watch movies on home systems every bit as good as the theater experience the average level of stupidity in movie theaters is growing exponentially.
