We rarely get to walk around the back and see which parts are real, and which are cut-outs or clay models.I’ve heard some characters are held up from behind by taped-on easels…and they may not even wear clothes on the back side!
And some are stuck to the background with velcro.(That might be how Dave stood the woman in the purple blouse a foot off the ground, to emulate perspective.)
I always felt if I had a difficult job to do, I should assign it to a lazy person! After all, he/she will find an easier way to get the job done…(snerk)
