Andy has changed so much over the years and for the good too. Flo maybe upset but it’s more to do with the narrow minded lady that my guess would be hasn’t seen Flo for a very long as well.
My hat is off to you Flo for not knocking her upside her head with your purse …More for knowing it’s better not to cast stones! Now go home and try to put this behind you!
Flo I do feel sorry for you and your agony for putting up with Andy for so long. It’s nice to have a friend you can cry on. Now go home and hit Andy over the head and tell him that’s for not changing his ways after all these years. Better yet Flo go pamper yourself you’ve earned it.
After I and my husband married I thought that too but alas couldn’t change him and I didn’t change my ways either. Only thing that change he had to stay near his mom where as I had to live far away from my parents. His mother was in her 80’s died at 88 not healthy either very crippled loss of independence.
Flo can only cry when she realizes how much she has changed over the years.
Andy is still the same man that she married so many years ago. He is still fun loving, fit and trim, and always seeing the world through the eyes of an optimist. No, he has not changed, despite Flo’s attempts to change him.
Misery loves company Flo. It looks as though you have chosen a lonely path.
I disagree.
Andy has changed a lot over the years.
He doesn’t smoke anymore.
You rarely see him staggering home drunk.
He and Flo don’t have those fights nowadays which resemble a puff of smoke with arms and legs flailing the perimeter.
Flo is the one that needs a makeover. Polka-dotted scarfs went out in the 60s.
Stru, that would really be a funny story line if Flo did get a complete makeover (albeit, only temporary). Fun to imagine what Andy’s reaction would be to come home and find a beautiful (for her age and build) woman serving him his favorite meal.

And if he didn’t enjoy it, she could come to my house! Now that I am thinking about it, Flo hasn’t worn curlers in a while, has she…?
