Since Cupertino gets only a rare snow occurrence (I have a sister who lives there) , you don’t have snow days. Snow days are when they close the schools for a day or more due to extremely bad winter snow, ice, or freezing weather, making it too dangerous for bus or car transportation of students to or from schools. In some extreme cases, the school heating systems can’t cope with extreme cold conditions, & snow days are also called then. Snow days are school closed days.

It’s always about the time I get to Wiz strip that I wish the Coffee Fairy would show up and refill my cup…

Snow Days are always good for our economy: everyone heads to the Mall.

Johnny Hart had a lot of experience with snow days when he was growing up in Broome Co New York.

I note the girl’s push-up bra has pushed them up to her collarbone.

If you need a certain number of school days per grade and school is often closed for snow, tornado or hurricane, it might take a while to experience the requisite number of days to graduate..If you had an exit exam per class or grade, some would be encouraged to learn quickly to advance quickly or exit sooner..It is not unlike the difference between being paid by the hour or the job. You do whatever yields the greatest reward for you.

snow days – ahhh – the memories – driving to the malltraveling to the big citygoing skiing in the woodsmaking cookies in the parking lotsitting in the deer stands-it was great when the weather was too ‘bad’ for school so that we could do the things we wanted to do rather than to be in class or sit at home.
