ok…the two bright lights shining from Ceres are not proof of communications from the non~planet/ planet light/Avatar not moon…whatever you call it…but it does remind me in some strange way of my first day of vacation on the beach…
Keep up to date on Dawn at JPL’s official blog: http://dawnblog.jpl.nasa.gov/ Dawn was in the dark behind Ceres at the beginning of April, and should be coming back around to take more pictures soon (and closer to Ceres too).

If Ceres is so much smaller than the Moon, and is a dwarf planet, does that mean the Moon is a planet? I’m so confused….

If Pluto is not a dwarf planet, does that mean we have to change its name to Sneezy. Bashful or Doc?

I couldn’t see Ceres last night and now I know it was because of the eclipse. This comic strip eclipses everything else on Rockit Science Sunday.
