Yes, still voting but reward the candidate who didn’t go all negative and reward those who want to expand voting rights, make the process more accessible.
The way it looks from my perspective is… State and National representatives are selected through the people’s vote. The presidential selection is determined by the electoral process, which is… those already elected to office and part of the system.
