3 is an average man’s walking speed. A horse drawn buggy can get that in less than 5 seconds, not minutes. Pulling it yourself might take a couple minutes to get up to speed.
Around my area, that buggy is considered a “Black Topper” the next level to the “Yellow Toppers” which are the most modern Amish. You should see the inside of their buggies! Even for a buggy, AWESOME!

Your are a MENNONITE? Around my part of the country you wouldn’t have a skateboard. A black car but no skateboard!
