@whiteheron——An underground fence is a wire buried in the ground electronic fence that is usually installed on the border of a yard. The dog wears a collar that sends a shock to the dog if it gets too close to the area of the buried wire. It is also known as an invisible fence. A collarless cat can come & go, but the dog is limited to the fenced in area.
