My daughters room doesn’t have a mountain. More like a bunch of rubble piles. She can’t clean her room but she can spend a hour on her appearance.

She should go visit that spooky, kooky family again, or perhaps go out trawling with C’pn Eddie again.

That would be an adventure. You never know what you will uncover in a pile of Danae’s dirty clothing. Leftovers from previous adventures can be frightening when left to fester for days and days.

I still vote for her joining the Girl Scouts .

Danae can go to the mountain for new adventure just like Indiana Jones and the Ark and other titles of Indiana Jones movies! I think that will be greatly fun!

Years ago, I finally declared my daughter’s room “The Dump” because of obvious reasons. She couldn’t of cared less until she noticed it was becoming strewn with all kinds of stuff besides hers….like mommy & daddy’s old clothes, books, boxes and things—including two old truck tires. She finally repented and we all laugh about it to this day. :D

Dad will really need to worry when Danae grows to like boys and starts cleaning up the room. Funny how these will be the GOOD times then.

wiley RULES! this strip and NPR get most of my attention… also love the comments… btw, is just me, or has the “third panel” suddenly taken on great significance?

How can she have a pile of dirty clothes? She has been wearing the same dress for years.

Maybe if you dig through the pile you would find 20 dresses just like the one she is wearing. :)

Superman, years ago, got chided by readers for always having a blue suit on and the writers revealed he had a closet full of them so he didn’t ever have to worry about decisions on suits or if he screwed up a costume change.

@grazer, I wish I had thought of that. I finally gave my daughter money for furniture in an apartment a few years after college just to get rid of her mess… She was spoiled by her dad and 3 older brothers. I think she still needs that kind of lesson (and she’s 44).

She has been wearing the same outfit for years because it has been a long time since she did laundry Like most cartoon characters she has twenty copies of the same outfit in her closet.

Wiley, I suspect it’s time (if it’s not already there!) to put a t-shirt of that dress/top on Cafe Press (oops, Zazzle)… I’d buy one!
