He's headed right this way!
Put that thing away!
Jojo is in no mood for autographs and pictures!
We lost miserably at Tee Ball.Parents were angry, kept claiming their anger was “for the children.”My son walked up to my wife and asked, “Did you see that beautiful sunset, Mama?”(The children didn’t care."
We never emphasized winning with our kids. The point was for them to have fun, and to tire themselves out so they’d sleep well at night! I remember how excited my son (about 8 years old) was when his football team scored their first goal…it was the penultimate game of the season! Did he regret never winning? Not at all; the best team in the league had a bunch of kids from various South American nations (who had been playing football since they could walk), they were undefeated, and their coach was a hot-headed ogre who yelled at the kids until they cried (at which point he’d call them “babies”). My kids were SO happy to be on a team where the coach emphasized basic skills, and cared more about enjoying the game than about winning.

Too bad Red from Red and Rover are not in the same era. A crossover would be fun. Maybe one of Red as a grownup playing ball with Jojo. Hmm.
