Poor Joanie goes home with her heart crushed.

Oh, I don’t know. I’d say it all depends on what you were hoping for.

All Joanie had to do was say, “my husband is also a reporter. He’s Rick Redfern with the Washington Post.”He would’ve left Joanie alone.

Darn thing is, Geraldo had a good show back in the ’70’s called “Good Night America.” Then he had Hugh Hefner on as a guest, and it all went downhill from there.

Notice how she says her name is “Joanie,” and he immediately calls her “Joan.” Doing customer support, I am sensitive to this: call them what they tell you to call them. My boss goes by “James,” and is “Jim” and "Jimmy"d all the time.

She would’ve let Roland know he was wasting his breath without hurting his ego.

How I’ve loved this arc – hate to see it go. BTW, it looks as though the laundry bag is making a pass at the detergent.

She needs to get home so she can fall down on the floor and laugh her head off. She’s just too polite to do it there.
