climate change is the gift Republican are giving our kids and grandkids. after they take everything of value of course. more of the “I’ve got mine and you can go eff yourself”, but then again that is the Republican way. the Tea Party was created back in the ’80’s by the Koch bro’s. laying the ground work takes effort and money. something the Kochs have lots of

Climate change is not a myth. Climates are changing all the time, all over the world; always have, and always will. Personally, I prefer it warmer, even with increased tick and mosquito problems. The alternative is 5280+ feet of ice.

What the climate change alarmists don’t seem to understand is that we can’t regulate our climate without a massively larger energy base to support the technology needed. You need space-based satellites to supply non-hydrocarbon energy, and to shade portions of the globe to provide cooling where it’s most effective. You need to undo the massive global deforestation we humans have caused (America has done well in recovering from the 1800’s clear cutting, but urbanization is rapidly undoing it. As for South America, Asia, and Africa, they’re rapidly going for 100% desertification.)

What’s really scarey about the character Valentine, from the movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service, is that killing off 90% of the human race would stop any human-caused warming (or cooling) effects for the next 100 years. However, I don’t see any of those people bemoaning AGW voluntarily committing suicide. It’s always the ‘other guy’ that’s supposed to make the real sacrifices.

When science and money intersect, certain things can be expected. How much money is spent each year proving climate change? How much money is spent each year disproving climate change. If I were a scientist looking for a project, I wonder which side I would come down on.
