Good thing Chic didn’t have a frog in his throat, it would have eaten Irving.

Chick was all choked up with grief over Irving. Ooops, all choked up WITH Irving!

I’d hoped that Irving was able to survive somehow but I’d never guessed that he’d be in Chic’s mouth. Given that he seemed to have been blown below Chic, that was some very impressive upwind flying on Irving’s part.

Note that the first word Holly spoke was “Wally”. I wonder if that was because she’d just survived a near death experience or if she was assuming that Wally was allowing himself to be beaten to death by Phil.

I was wrong. I’d said that Holly had caught a bug. But it’s really Chic that’s sick.

Now that was unexpected. But it was also a needed patch of humour to break up this rather bleak story arc.

Yay! Irving’s safe, albeit with a shell-shocked expression. God knows what he experienced in Chic’s mouth, he’s seen sights he didn’t know existed.

the face of grief and the face of having a giant bug in your mouth are apparently similar.

Last night I was thinking about Endtown and suddenly thought, Chic has him in his mouth. That is the honest truth. I almost posted it, but was too tired and needed sleep more.It was still a surprize that that was what did happen.About what time does Endtown show up? I have stayed up late as 2:00 before, so know it’s ussually after that.Holly is going to want to run her fastest to the fight area. Don’t know if she knows where it is.Glad Holly didn’t give Kirbee a hard time about being happy. She is a good hearted sensitive soul and had to get her to stop trying to talk to the grieving shild.SO glad it turned out OK for Chic and Irving. It’s a good thing that parrots have large beaks!

I think Chic is spelled Chic like in “boychik”, Yiddish.Maybe not, the spelling is different there. If Yiddish he would be Chik. He is so sweet and had such a hard life. To loose his pet would have broken him, maybe. My email is still down. I’m having trouble with my IP.They don’t seem to accept Any passwords I think up to reset my password. Grr.

It makes me think of the chase in the beginning of “Serenity” (the “Firefly” movie). A mentally damaged psychic named River was sent along on a bank heist with the more dangerous members on the ship’s crew. The heist went well until crazy dangerous folk named Reavers showed up and chased the robbers within an inch of their life. When they finally make it back to the ship, the first thing River says is, “I swallowed a bug.”

I don’t recall there being any mutants shown other than former humans.

If my memory is correct, what did happen to all the animals?

The anthropomorphic plague could easily be pandemic, I would assume the damage from the zero weapons to affect population centers.

The security rats in Endtown are not mutated humans. Aaron says they have a different origin. The civilian rats are probably mutants, though.
