Nothing is so insane as a movie director bent on achieving greatness.
The most hilarious example I can think of is Werner Herzog’s film “Fitzcarraldo” (1982), about an Amazonian rubber baron of old, bent on achieving magnificence by importing a steamship over a mountain … and of course it had to be done by Herzog himself in order to make his movie authentically “great.”
Almost as amusing a story as Joe & Ruthie.
@Avon, I think I watched that one once (vaguely remember) and yes, nothing will “red flag” the producers like this new costume (if they didn’t already recognize her, they’ll now but a mark on it). The new OBH is a really good time ;-)
