Why do they need to disguise themselves? It might be called a carpool lane in everyday talk, but the actual name is high occupancy lane, just because it’s his kids traveling with him, don’t disqualify him from the lane, the rule is simply minimum amounts of passengers, not that they have to be adults, or have to be from separate families.
