On a thousand ways to die they had a story once about a boyfriend and girlfriend who were texting each other back and forth. He was driving to the mall to pick her up and she was coming out of the mall to the parking lot and they were texting back and forth, argueing about where he was going to pick her up. So he was driving and texting at the same time she was walking and texting and stepped out into the driving lane of the parking lot just as he drove into the lot and hit and killed her.

I only ‘walk and text’ when I’m in a hurry but I still show consideration for people by looking up from my phone every couple of seconds.
