That’s exactly what our chocolate Lab was doing! Only she’s eating freshly planted Dianthus, goes for the blossom and pulls out the whole plant. It’s been really good for the local nursery.
We used to have a puppy who would snip the buds off our tulips. We’d walk out together to get the morning paper and I say NO! She’d look at me look at the tulips, look back at me and then – whoomph! Once they had bloomed, she wasn’t interested, but she did love those buds.
