    BD knew better. He went for his interviews wearing the helmet. That way the interviewer would think he’d count toward their affirmative action quotas.

    It is funny how the list of “good, stable” companies has changed over the years. Today the list would be Apple, Google, Facebook or a start up nobody has heard of yet.

    I got married in a crisp pair of overalls, with white shirt, black tie, and polished two-tones. Zonker, a year or two later, is clearly paying tribute to my sartorial elegance.

    B.D. would have gone in wearing a suit but would have forgotten to remove the helmet. (still so strange to see him sans helmet in present day). Mr Zonker Harris is attired in his best Sunday overalls. And the interviewers better notice that they are clean and ironed.(I don’t recall if he gets any nibbles)
