They got the souvenirs from Wally World there, made in, natch, China.I would imagine that a small business owner fears the day that someone like them enters their shop. Susan?
Susan went to bed, but I stopped in, and now I wish I didn’t,If those cute little shops and restaurants have many more customers like this two ninnies, that quaint little town will be a quaint little ghost town.
2Old… um… when did I go to bed?I’m sure glad it was earlier than usual tonight, cos I need a lot more sleep than I’ve been getting!
Meanwhile… yes, Mikie…but on the other hand, sometimes they provide years of stories to tell.
They ask whether an antique dish comes in another color…whether it’s “used,”
A young couple wandered in, obviously out of their element, and told me they were looking for “bar stuff.”
I asked whether they liked Art Deco…and while the wife looked on proudly, the husband, with an affected air, said “Oh, I love some of his work.”
And it’s true about the restaurants…. the Pennys types whisper conspiratorially that they know the cute cafes are a tourist rip-off, and ask where to find a Denny’s or an iHOP.
I think they found the Wendy’s about 3 miles out of the quaint town. I don’t see them fitting in the stores either. a lot of old stores I have been in seems crowded and little room to turn around in. The feed store has double doors and one closed is about 18" wide. Not wide enough for any of them..

Could the “No Smelly People” signs posted in each quaint business have been a deterrent?

“Take film to CVS”. Ok, Is this strip that old, or are the Penneys that attached to turn of the century (1900) technology?
