Happy Mother’s Day ladies!! My mom has dementia and is in an assisted living home. We visit her every Sunday but she doesn’t know who we are anymore. Maybe she just thinks we’re four nice girls who come to see her. I don’ t know. Anyway, treasure your mothers while you have them, and if you have children I hope they treasure you. God bless you all.

Oh, and Gweedo, regarding your post Thursday to me. Making biscuits is what I call it when kitties knead their paws on you. You make me sound like some kind of pervert. Thanks.

Of course, it’s only Mother’s Day in certain countries. In the UK, we celebrate Mother’s Day in March, although, bizarrely, Jersey celebrates it in May.

@MCTSReally enjoyed those ‘from another angle’ pics. And the ‘protective force field’ was meaningful to me…my boys, Oliver and/or Tyler do that bit between my lower legs whenever I sit in my recliner. It’s so comforting and they look so peaceful. Of course I can’t get up for fear of disturbing. LOL@Amethyst52Happy MD to you too….you still have ‘happy’ memories to cherish of your mom as you visit her today. I’m sure dear Gweedo’s comment was misinterpreted from last Thursday…but am going back to check. LOL

Hope everyone is enjoying Mothers Day Sunday!sorry to be posting so late, but church and dinner out was enjoyable and I didnt get up early enough to post before church. The trip home was great yesterday, I even stopped and got the most beautiful strawberries from a farmers stand. They were so good I ate half of them on the way home. The rest are going to be Strawberry Shortcake. Yummmm!!

I know it’s late but I have been under a couple of cats trying to enjoy the new chair. When they are comfortable you do hate to move them. Hurting because of the weather today so very glad to have the new chair. My only kids have four feet and are furry. Still going to enjoy today. To all the mothers no matter what kids you have, have a great day.

Lost my mom to Alzheimer’s also. But I have a wonderful daughter who spent the day here and cuddled my two old lady adopted dogs like they were her own. We had a lovely day. All 4 legged critters got many treats, as (at least the donkeys) were moms too.

Try asking at Frog Applause or Thats Priceless.Or even at Last Kiss.

Since I have two parrots, I haven’t had any chance to play with kitties. Went to my granddaughter and great grandson today and met Willow, a two month old kitten. Cute and I enjoyed playing with her. And I have the scratches to prove it.

Does anyone think that is a sweater Chesney unraveled to write his message?
