Yesterday I mentioned Do not call list got a big response. I think ones who are exempt are charity orgainzations and yes AT&T. I now tell those charity to stop calling. Since my husband retired they must think we have a lot of money.
Also toll free number calls just listen to them until you can listen how you can talk to someone live and tell them to quite calling. Where I work at we get those 800 numbers to for someone is trying to go to school and list where they work at and it’s annoying.
Now Ruthie you should have taken that .20 cents with you and not left it out. Your brother may have gotten it and you can’t prove it.
Exempt from Do Not Call are: charities, surveys, businesses you have a relationship with (current phone co, cable co, etc.) or have had in the recent past and of course, politicians.

Don’t leave your money out there next time, Ruthie.

Kab, I think anyone you regularly or recently do business with is also exempt; that’s another reason hang ups work for me.
Leaving money in plain sight of others is never good because too many people are not honest.
