Hey! Wait … a … minute! This strip is not about trains! It’s about something else entirely!

What’s the deal with Barbara Stanwyck lately?

The tunnel is the only thing that’s missing, I think. Or maybe that’s why the comic is blacked out? The whole thing is in a tunnel?

Not that I admit it but Teresa might not have me going “DUH” today but only “HUH?” Is this a preview of “Dancing with the Star?” or was there some moldy rye flour in my breakfast cereal?

this reminds of the time I lived in Tulsa. All I did was wander around in a little world of my own and struck back at anyone who challenged my superiority to them.

….and then I heard the rhythmic sound of a steam engine , chugging it’s determined little way into downtown tulsa. nothing was the same after that.

did I ever tell you about the time I taught bible class on the navaho reservation to a bunch of ingrate injuns?

    No JelloKitty, you’re not dumb.

You just need to read more comments from one of the most prolific posters on the gocomics website. We have suffered though his telling of every detail of his life for quite some time now.

An example can be found at:

    http://www.gocomics.com/rubes/2010/05/09/ or http://www.gocomics.com/forbetterorforworse/2010/05/02/

I read the comments above (and others) and it doesn’t seem possible that this person is genuine. It sounds like someone purposely pulling everyone’s leg. It’s a game. He’s a comedy writer or something, right?

If a train leaves Phoenix, headed west at 70 mph, and a man on a bicycle leaves Los Angeles, headed East at 15 mph, is it too early to plant tomatoes in Albuquerque?

Who are you referring to JelloKitty?

I hope you’re not referring to anyone who has commented on this page today (so far).

JelloKitty, I believe he is for real. He hasn’t posted here on FA in quite some time, because it is offensive to him. There is probably a reason for the social problem. I’m not qualified to comment on that.

Oh, and for all of you dirty-minded salivators out there: sometimes a train is just a train. But I do enjoy watching the flaming smoke rise in spurts from the chimney of a steam locomotive as the main rod plunges back and forth into the cylinder, causing the coupling rods to propel the whole shebang along while smoke pours from the firebox in a veritable orgy of radiant heat. But there is nothing sexual about any of that.

jtpozenel: he’s the youngest Cartwright brother on Bonanza, right? If he’s the real deal, I sort of feel sorry for him.

    You are not alone Lewreader.

I noticed that by looking at Susan001’s profile page that she has been making comments but none are showing up on the pages she made the posts. Looks like she angered someone and is now exiled.

That’s odd, because I’ve seen many of her comments, and I can’t understand why she would get censored. She may have deleted them herself. I’ve had second thoughts a few times and gone back and deleted a post.

Frog Blog: I feel really sorry for England, that FA will not get a seat in Parliament. They do not know what they’re missing. Perhaps Lower Slobovia will have us, or maybe Elbonia. We do need to be making decisions for some country. Our own unique brand of plausible deniability, double entendres, and dirty minds could spark a much-needed revolution.
