I was riding shotgun with a friend (in the ’70s) when he/we became distracted by girls playing tennis as he was about to make a left turn through a traffic light. Another friend of ours was riding in the back seat. As our car turned, we were hit head on (at a very low speed) by a car we had turned in front of. The back seat friend and I looked up, just before we hit, just in time to see that his parents were sitting in the back seat of the other car, looking straight at us, wide eyed, as we hit. That was weird enough for me, I can just imagine how it was for all of them.

I saw a bumper sticker once that said “Watch my rear end, not hers.”

I once saw a guy in a Vette rear-end another car because he was watching a woman on the sidewalk.

All of the above goes to show men need to respect women more and not treat us like objects to gawk at. Brilliant demonstration, gents, well done.

If you are going to gawk, please pull over to the side of the road first…
…and this does not just apply to men!

I understand this sort of accident is on the decline… because drivers are now too busy texting to notice anything outside the car.
